In Wadesboro, at South Piedmont’s Lockhart Taylor Center an old Mill had been decaying for many years. LCM demolished the unused portion of the building, which included asbestos removal and remediation, rerouting the water supply and creating a green space on campus. During this project, students were able to attend classes without interruption and despite the close working quarters, LCM had no lost time accidents or injuries.
