LCM Builders, Inc. was honored to be chosen by the North Carolina Department of Cultural Affairs to install new roofs at the Vance Historical Site.

Both the main house and the 'slave' house recieved new cedar shake roofs installed in the historically correct manner without the use of modern products like felt paper.

It is a tribute to both our craftsmanship and the knowlege of the early pioneers that these roofs are watertight.
